Female Australian star Ashleigh Barty has claimed the French Open title after beating Czech Republic teenager Marketa Vondrousova 6-1 6-3 in a match that lasted one hour and 10 minutes. 


Novak Djokovic was shocked in the Semi-final clash against Dominic Thiem as the Austrian defeated the world No 1 6-2 3-6 7-5 5-7 7-5 in a match that lasted four hours and 19 minutes over two days. Thiem will now lock horns with Rafael Nadal in the final today.
