Senegal crash out of World Cup

Senegal are out of the FIFA Under-20 World Cup after being beaten in the quarter-final 3-2 on penalties by Korea Republic following a 3-3 draw after extra time. The match ended 2-2 after 90 mins and 3-3 after 120 mins only for the last African side in the competition to crash out on penalty shootouts.


Korea Republic will now in the semi-final on Tuesday June 11 face Ecuador who beat USA 2-1 yesterday.
