    Rafael Nadal defeated Dominic Thiem 6-3 5-7 6-1 6-1 to claim his record 12th Roland Garros title. He now has 18 Grand Slam, just two behind Roger Federer who has 20.
    He also broke the record of the first man or woman to claim the same Grand Slam tournament 12 times, moving ahead of Margaret Court who claimed the Australian Open 11 times.
