Netherlands down England in the UEFA Nations League semi-final thanks to a 3-1 victory. The Dutch side scored twice in extra time to secure the needed victory following a 1-1 90 minutes draw.
Marcus Rashford scored first through penalty on the night after Matthijs de Ligt had brought him down inside the area. De Ligt however revived himself by getting the equaliser thanks to a brilliant second-half header. England looked to have secured the victory when Jesse Lingard found the back of the net late in the game, only for VAR to rule it for offside.
England were later punished in extra time after two costly mistakes allowed Kyle Walker to score an own goal as well as allowed Quincy Promes to crown the win 3-1.
Netherlands will now face Portugal in the final on Sunday while England set up a third place date with Switzerland.
This was England's third loss in their last four games against the Dutch team.
This is the first time since the 4-1 loss against Germany in 2010 that England would concede three goals in a competitive match.
Raheem Sterling is the third youngest player to earn 50 caps for England after just 24 years and 180 days. He's behind the likes of Wayne Rooney and Michael Owen.
