Senegal beat Tahiti in Under-20 World Cup opening game

Amadou Sagna scores a hat-trick to give Senegal the win

The FIFA Under-20 World Cup has started in Poland with the kick off from yesterday where there were series of exciting actions;


Senegal star Amadou Sagna bagged a hat-trick to help his country defeat Tahiti in the opening game and put the African side in a strong position to qualify from their group.

Host Country Poland were well beaten by Colombia by 2-0 and are now in a difficult position to qualify from the group.

A total of 24 countries are in this tournament where 16 will go on to the round-of-16 after choosing four best losers with the normal 12 who will qualify on merit for the next round.
