Nigeria defeated Qatar 4-0 in their first match of the 2019 FIFA Under-20 World Cup to be in first position in Group D. Maxwell Effiom, Okechukwa Offia, Tom Dele-Bashiru and Aliu Salawudeen all got on the score sheet as the Flying Eagles ran riot over their counterparts from Qatar.
