Lionel Messi wins sixth Pichichi after Barcelona draw at Eibar

La Liga came to an end yesterday and Lionel Messi scored twice to salvage a point for Barcelona in a 2-2 draw away at Eibar.
The Argentine international scored 36 La Liga goals this season, 15 more than second-placed Karim Benzema and Luis Suarez. He has scored a total of 50 goals in 49 games in all competitions this season and has one more game to go- Copa del Rey final to add to that tally.
Messi has now won the Pichichi award- La Liga highest goalscorer for the sixth time ever and his third in a row. He has equaled the record of the award's most win that was set 66 years ago by Athletic club player Telmo Zarra.
Real Madrid fell to a last day defeat after being beaten at home to Real Betis. It was Madrid's worst season in years after losing 12 La Liga matches this season and could only gather as many as 68 points.
Clubs to represent Spain in the Champions League next season are; Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid and Valencia.
