Vincent Kompany came to Manchester City's rescue as the Belgian scored a stunner to secure all three points for the Etihad side and move them one more win away from glory.


The match ended 1-0 against Leicester City who also put in a massive shift but this is exactly what team captains are meant for; they turn up to save their teams on days that matter and Kompany has done exactly that.

Manchester City go top of the table to 95 points, one point above Liverpool which means the Premier League title will be decided on the last day of the league this coming Sunday. Leicester City meanwhile are 9th with 51 points and may have missed out of qualifying for Europa League with this loss.
