Gabriel Jesus move City into FA Cup final
Manchester City move into the FA Cup final and a continuous chance for the quadruple this season after beating Brighton 1-0 thanks to an early strike from Gabriel Jesus. Having won the Carabao Cup in February, Pep Guardiola's side will face either of Watford or Wolverhampton in the final of the FA Cup in the final weeks of the season.

This is the first time since 2013 where they lost to Wigan that City will reach a FA Cup Final. This final will be their 11th FA Cup final.
City have scored a total of 20 goals in the FA Cup so far this season, more than any other side.
Pep Guardiola is the first manager since Kenny Dalglish for Liverpool in 2011/12 to reach the final of both domestic English cups in the same season.
Gabriel Jesus has scored 12 goals in 15 Cup competition appearances this season compared to just six goals in 25 Premier League games.

Lionel Messi with 335 La Liga win

Barcelona get close to sealing the La Liga title after beating 10-man Atletico Madrid 2-0. Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi struck late to secure all points and take their lead on the table to 11 points. Diego Costa was red-carded early in the first-half after he allegedly insulted the referee's mother and this made life difficult for Atletico Madrid who could only defend throughout the game. Barcelona now have 73 points while Atletico Madrid have 62 points. Lionel Messi has now broken another record as he attains 335 La Liga wins, passing Iker Casillas who previously held the record.
