Juventus claim the Serie A title

Juventus claimed the Serie A title yesterday following a 2-1 victory over Fiorentina which saw them go 20 points clear with five games to go.

The Old Lady have now won the Scu,detto for the eighth consecutive seasons becoming the first side in Europe top five leagues to win their domestic title for eighth consecutive time. Cristiano Ronaldo however after winning the Serie A title is now the first player to ever win the Premier League, La Liga and Serie A titles. Only Jose Mourinho has won the three titles but instead as a manager.

Manchester City go top of the Premier League table thanks to a 1-0 win over Tottenham with the lone goal scored by Phil Foden. Following their Champions League exit in the hands of Tottenham in midweek, City have shifted their focus into winning the Premier League and they now have 86 points, one point above second Liverpool. Tottenham meanwhile have 67 points and are in third position, one point above Arsenal who stand 4th with a game in hand.

This is the first time since 2004 that Tottenham will lose four consecutive Premier League away games.
Spurs have lost 11 Premier League matches this campaign, that's as many as they lost in their previous two seasons combined, they lost four in 2016/17 and seven in 2017/18.
Foden scored his first Premier League goal for the club, he's the third youngest player after Micah Richard and Daniel Sturridge to score in the Premier League for the club.
