      Christian Eriksen scores for Tottenham to beat Brighton

    Tottenham put themselves in a better position in the race for the top-four after defeating Brighton with a hard-fought 1-0 victory through a late goal from Christian Eriksen. The Spurs are still third on the table with 70 points, three points above 4th Chelsea while Brighton are 17th with 34 points just three points from safety with three games to go.


    Shane Long scored the fastest goal in the history of the Premier League after just six seconds as Watford came from behind to draw Southampton in a breathtaking match following Andre Gray's second half equaliser. Watford are 7th on the table with 50 points while Southampton are 16th with 37 points.

    Barcelona defeated Deportivo Alaves 2-0 away from home thanks to goals from Alena and Luis Suarez. With four matches to go, Barcelona are on the verge of winning the La Liga title having gathered 80 points, 12 points above Atletico Madrid who have a game in hand.
