| Lionel Messi and Philippe Coutinho scored for Barcelona |
Barcelona thrashed Manchester United 3-0 in the second leg of the Champions League quarter final thanks to a first-half brace from Lionel Messi and a wonder second-half strike from Philippe Coutinho.
The encounter ended in a 4-0 aggregate win in favour of the Catalans as Manchester United failed to come to the party. That was one of the worst performance by a losing side in the Champions League knockout stages in recent years and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side will have to shift their focus solely on the chase for top-four. Barcelona however still have their chance for the treble and will face either Liverpool or FC Porto in the Semi-final of the competition.
