Barcelona win eighth La Liga title in 11 years

Barcelona secured the La Liga title for the second consecutive season and the eighth time in 11 years thanks to a 1-0 victory over Levante after Lionel Messi came from the bench to save the day.

With three matches to go, Barcelona lead the table with nine points and a ridiculous number of goal difference ahead of Atletico Madrid. The Catalan side have 83 points while Atletico Madrid have 74 points. That was Barcelona's 26th La Liga title of all time and only time will tell if they are able to meet up with rivals Real Madrid who have 33 titles.

Michail Antonio scored for West Ham to defeat Tottenham

Tottenham were beaten for the first time at their new stadium following a 1-0 defeat to West Ham thanks to the lone goal from Michail Antonio. Mauricio Pochettino's side still have the top four in their favour standing in third with 70 points, three points above Chelsea who face Manchester United today and four points above Arsenal who visit Leicester.

Tottenham have now lost 17 matches in all competitions this season, their highest number of defeats since 19 in 2008/2009.  This was West Ham's first away clean sheet in their last 10 Premier League away matches. The Spurs have now lost six of their last 10 Premier League matches. Manuel Pellegrini has beaten Pochettino four times in the Premier League, level with Pep Guardiola, only Jose Mourinho has beaten the Argentine more with five victories. Antonio has scored all of his 26 Premier League goals from inside the box.

Rennes stun PSG to win Coup de France

Rennes stunned PSG in the Coup de France final after beating Thomas Tuchel's side 6-5 on penalties following a 2-2 draw as Kylian Mbappe saw red in extra time. PSG were 2-0 up through Dani Alves and Neymar before they blew it thanks to a Presnel Kimpembe's own goal and a Mexer's header which took the match to extra time and on to penalties. Christopher Nkunku missed for the French capital side and gave Rennes their third ever Coup de France trophy in history.
