    Valery equalized for Southampton

Southampton secured a 2-1 comeback victory over Tottenham at the St Mary's stadium to go two points above the relegation zone which put them in 16th position.
Tottenham have now lost three consecutive away Premier League games for the first time this season and they are on the verge to be drawn into the race for top-four. Harry Kane scored the 200th goal of his career (club and country) but that wasn't enough as Southampton stole the show through a Jan Valery's equalizer and a James Ward-Prowse's winner to deservedly secure all points.
Ward-Prowse has now scored four direct free-kick goals for Southampton, only Matt Le Tissier has more for the club.
Tottenham still stand third with 61 points, three points above fourth Manchester United.

Manchester City go four points clear at the top of the table

Manchester City go four points clear at the top of the table thanks to a 3-1 win over Watford. Raheem Sterling was the star of the day scoring a hat-trick to give Pep Guardiola the edge at the top of the table.

City have now won 10 of their last 11 Premier League matches, losing only one and they are also currently on the longest winning run of six games than any other team in the competition.
City have only lost one game at home of the possible 16 this season.
Sterling scored the fastest hat-trick of 13m 12s since Romelu Lukaku for Everton since September 2016; 11m 37s.
Sterling has more than any other Premier League player been directly involved in 22 home goals in all competitions this season.
Gerard Deufoleu scored 17 seconds after coming up from the bench, the fastest substitute goal in the Premier League since Sammy Ameobi after eight seconds for Newcastle against Tottenham in October 2014.
