Diogo Jota scored for Wolverhampton against Manchester United

Manchester United crash out of the FA Cup after a deserved 2-1 defeat to Wolverhampton. Wolves were excellent while United lacked the urgency as claimed by their caretaker boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Diogo Jota and Raul Jimenez scored in quick succession 20 minutes to the end of the match, but United could only pull one back through Marcus Rashford in stoppage time. United's chances of winning a silverware this season has now been streamlined to the Uefa Champions League where they've been drawn to play Barcelona in the quarter final.

Wolves have now won six and drawn one of their last seven home games in all competitions, as many as they had in their previous 16.
This is the first time since January 1973 that United would lost an FA Cup match against Wolves.
Wolves have scored each of their last six goals in all competitions through Jota who has two and Jimenez who has four.
Rashford has now scored eight of his twelve goals this season under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Sergio Aguero scored the winner as Manchester City move into the semi-final

Manchester City controversially moved into the semi-final of the FA Cup after coming from 2-0 down to secure a 3-2 comeback victory over Swansea. City scored through Bernardo Silva, an own goal and Sergio Aguero with their last two goals being controversial as one was an undeserved penalty and the winner was scored from an offside position. The absence of VAR at Swansea made it difficult for the referee to make a reverse call and City moved into the semi-final of the Cup competition being the only remaining 'big six' team in the competition.

City have reached the semi-final of the FA Cup in two of their last three seasons, this is as many as they got to in their previous 35 seasons.
This is the first time under Pep Guardiola that City will come back from 2+ goals down.
City have scored a total of 19 goals in the FA Cup so far this season, more than any other team.
Aguero has scored 18 goals and assisted four in 20 FA Cup games for City.
Bernardo Silva has now scored 10 goals in 41 games for City this season, one more than his total tally in 53 games last season.

Real Madrid got back to winning ways under Zinedine Zidane as new life began with goals from Isco and Gareth Bale as Thibaut Courtois dropped to the bench. They are still third with 54 points.

Atletico Madrid slipped to successive defeat as Athletic Bilbao defeated Diego Simeone's side 2-0 and they remain second with 56 points.
