Chelsea and Arsenal qualify for the Europa League round-of-16

Chelsea proceeded into the Europa League round-of-16 after beating Malmo 3-0 last night to have an aggregate 5-1 victory over two legs.
Olivier Giroud, Ross Barkley and youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi all got on the score sheet to give Maurizio Sarri's side a good preparation ahead of their Carabao Cup final against Manchester City this weekend.
Chelsea have now won each of their last Seven home matches in the Europa League with at least three goals in each of six of those games.
Of his 43 matches in charge of Chelsea so far, Sarri has won 28, one more than Pep Guardiola won in his first 43 games for Manchester City.
Since Romelu Lukaku in March 2015 for Everton, Giroud is the first player to score in five consecutive games in the Europa League for an English club.
Willian has now assisted three goals in his last four matches for Chelsea, as many as he assisted in his previous 25 games. He made his 200th start for the club last night.
Hudson-Odoi has scored three and assisted another three in his last six starts for the blues in all competitions.

Arsenal came back from a first leg defeat to proceed into the Europa League last 16 after beating BATE 3-0 last night and they qualified on a 3-1 aggregate win. An own goal gave Arsenal the early lead and goals from defenders Shkodran Mustafi and Sokratis secured the lifeline for the Gunners and gave a chance to compete for a trophy this season.
This is the first time Arsenal will win an European tie over two legs after a first leg loss since against Porto in the Champions League in 2010.
Arsenal have substituted players who have scored a total of 13 goals, more than any other Premier League club in all competitions this season.
Unai Emery has only lost one home Europa League game which was in his Sevilla days. He has played a total of 17 home Europa League matches.
Granit Xhaka provided two assists in one game for Arsenal for only the second time ever. His first was against Leicester in August 2017.
Mesut Ozil has now played 19 games for Arsenal this season completing the 90 minutes only on seven occasions.
