    Barcelona thrash Real Madrid to move into Copa del Rey final

    Barcelona trashed Real Madrid out of the Copa del Rey thanks to a 3-0 win over the Bernabeu side. Luis Suarez's double and an own goal gave Barcelona the deserved win to qualify for the final of the competition on 4-1 aggregate victory after playing 1-1 draw in the first leg.
    It was a bad day in office for Real Madrid and as a matter of fact, performance-wise they have not been anywhere near this Barcelona team this season.

    Manchester City maintained the pressure at the top of the Premier League table thanks to a 1-0 win over West Ham through a Sergio Aguero's penalty goal. City struggled to make a statement against a resilient Hammers but they found the breakthrough and remain one point off the top of the table with 68 points.

    City have now won each of their last seven matches against West Ham in all competitions, scoring 23 goals in the process and conceding just three goals. They have also won 16 of their last 17 home matches in all competitions with the exception of Crystal Palace who beat them 2-3 in December.
    Aguero has now scored 59 goals and provided 15 assists (total of 74 goals) in 80 Premier League games since Pep Guardiola took over at the club in 2016, only Harry Kane has been more involved in more goals with 87 within that period.

    Romelu Lukaku scored a brace to help Manchester United maintain the raise for top four and keep pressure on Arsenal who are fourth on the table. Ashley Young also got on the score sheet as United defeated Crystal Palace by 1-3 away from home. United now have 55 points, one point behind Arsenal.

    For the first time in their history, United have now won eight consecutive away matches in all competitions.
    Crystal Palace are yet to beat United in their last 22 league matches against each other, since a 3-0 win in May 1991.
    Roy Hodgson has lost more Premier League games (12) against United than any other side.
    Romelu Lukaku has now scored 10 Premier League goals this season with eight being away from home, only Harry Kane has scored more away Premier League goals (10) this season.
    James McArthur is the fourth player to make 150 Premier League appearances for Crystal Palace.

    Chelsea put an end to Tottenham's hope of contending for the Premier League title with a 2-0 victory over the Spurs at the Stamford bridge. Pedro's goal and a bizarre own goal from Trippier gave Chelsea the deserved win to maintain the pressure for a top-four finish. Tottenham failed to get a shot on target and they remain third with 60 points after losing two consecutive Premier League games while Chelsea are sixty with 53 points.

    In their last 33 home matches against Tottenham in all competitions, Chelsea have only lost just one, won 21 and drawn 11.
    This is the first time since August 2007 that Tottenham will lose two League matches in a space of five days.
    Spurs have only won three of their 23 away Premier League matches against the big six under manager Mauricio Pochettino, they've lost 13 and drawn seven.

    Liverpool thrashed Watford 5-0 to stay on top of the Premier League table and maintain the one point lead over Manchester City. Sadio Mane and Virgil van Dijk got a brace each and Divock Origi also scored one goal. Liverpool are now on 69 points as the race for the title looks set to go down the wire with only 10 games remaining.

    Liverpool now have 69 points after 28 games, each of the seven previous teams to achieve that points after 28 games have gone on to claim the Premier League title.
    Liverpool are yet to lose a Premier League home game for the past 35 matches at Anfield, winning 25 and drawing 10.
    Watford have now conceded at least five goals in three successive away Premier League games against a single opponent.
    Sadio Mane has now scored 14 Premier League goals this season, his highest in a single season so far.
    Origi has scored seven goals and assisted four in his last 18 starts in the Premier League.
    Trent Alexander-Arnold is Liverpool fourth player to ever register at least three assists in a single Premier League game.

    Arsenal continue the race to fight for a top four finish after beating Bournemouth by 5-1. Mesut Ozil, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Laurent Koscielny, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette all scored for Arsenal to move the Gunners to 56 points still on fourth position. And they face Tottenham in the North London derby at the weekend.

    Arsenal are yet to get defeated in their last 14 home Premier League games with wins in each of their last eight.
    Arsenal have now conceded 1000 Premier League goal in the history of the competition, becoming the eighth team to concede that many.
    This is the first time since May 2018 that Arsenal will score as many as five goals in a single match.

    Ozil has now been involved in 51 goals in 85 Premier League appearances at the Emirates Stadium, he has scored 19 and provided 32 assists.
    Since Aubameyang's Premier League debut, only Mohamed Salah has scored more Premier League goals than him, Salah has 30 while Aubameyang has 26 goals.
    Alexandre Lacazette is the first player to scored in five consecutive home matches for Arsenal since Robin van Persie in March 2012.
