Manchester City moved into the Carabao Cup final after beating Burton Albion 1-0 away from home in the second leg of the semi-final fixture last night.
City secured a 10-0 aggregate victory as they proceed into their first consecutive Carabao Cup finals after winning that of last season with 3-0 victory over Arsenal. Sergio Aguero got the lone goal last night and the rest might well be history.
This is the biggest aggregate win in the league cup history since City's 9-0 aggregate win over West Ham in 2014.
Manchester City are yet to concede a goal since Roberto Firmino's goal against them on January 3rd and they have scored 24 goals from then until now. They have conceded only one goal on their way to final of the competition and that was Leicester Marc Albrighton's goal in the quarter-final.
Sevilla shocked Messi-less Barcelona with a 2-0 win to take advantage in the first leg of the Copa del Rey quarter-final and Barcelona will have to give it their all in the second leg if they will have a chance to retain the trophy this season.
