    Liverpool returned to the top of the table beating Manchester United 3-1 at Anfield thanks to a brilliant display by Jurgen Klopp's side.
    Xherdan Shaqiri was the star of the show, coming from the bench and scoring a brace to win the match for Liverpool. Liverpool scored first in the first half through Sadio Mane with a wonderful calm finish after a beautiful pass from Fabinho but it only lasted about nine minutes as Jesse Lingard capitalized on an Allison's spill to equalize 1-1. The second half was however different with everything going Liverpool's way and Shaqiri came from the bench to win and wrap things up for the reds. Liverpool are now first on the table with 45 points, 19 points ahead of United who are sixth with 26 points, Liverpool's biggest ever lead over United after 17 games.
    This is Liverpool's biggest win over Manchester United at Anfield since their 3-1 win in March 2011.
    United have conceded 29 goals so far in the Premier League this season, they only conceded 28 in the entirety of last season and the most goals they have conceded at this stage of the season since 1962/63 season.
    Manchester United faced a total of 36 shots, the highest they've faced in a Premier League match.

    Arsenal's 22-match unbeaten run came to an end and Southampton secured their first victory in 14 matches as Charlie Austin scored a late winner to give Southampton an important 3-2 win over the Gunners. Danny Ings and Henrikh Mkhitaryan both scored a brace for their teams but it was Austin's winner that made the difference. Southampton moved out of relegation zone to 17th on the log while Arsenal remain 5th with 34 points.
    Arsenal are yet to lead at halftime in any Premier League game this season and they have scored 27 second half goals, the highest of any team this season.
    Austin has now scored in all of his five Premier League matches against the Gunners.

    Chelsea remain 4th but moved to 37 points thanks to a 2-1 victory at Brighton. Pedro and Eden Hazard both scored as Chelsea look to continue a strong run.
    Chelsea have scored a total of 37 goals so far this season, their highest at this stage of the season since 2014/15 season.
    Chelsea have won all of their seven games against Brighton in the league, an 100% record.
    Willian has become the third Brazilian to be involved in 50 goals after Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino who have been involved in 76 and 64 respectively, Willian has scored 27 goals and provided 23 assists.

    Lionel Messi was the star of the show after singlehandedly leading Barcelona to a 5-0 win at Levante. The skipper scored a hat-trick and provided two assists.
