Tottenham defeat Arsenal to progress into the Carabao Cup semi-final

Arsenal slipped to a consecutive defeat for the first time since August as Tottenham defeated them 2-0 in the Carabao Cup at the Emirates stadium.
Heung-min Son gave Tottenham the first half lead as Arsenal missed a lot of chances in front of goal. Dele Alli however added to Arsenal's woes by scoring the second in the second half with a sublime finish and the match ended 2-0 in favour of the Spurs. Tottenham proceed into the semi-final where they have been drawn to face Chelsea.
Tottenham have eliminated Arsenal in the League Cup for the first time since 2008 where Spurs won the competition.
Tottenham defeated Arsenal at the Emirates stadium for the second time ever, the first since November 2010.
Arsenal against Tottenham is the joint-most played fixture in the League Cup competition with 14 meetings, level with Arsenal against Liverpool.
Chelsea have qualified for the semi-final of the League Cup in consecutive seasons for the very first time since 2007/08 after beating Bournemouth 1-0 last night thanks to a goal from substitute Eden Hazard. Chelsea will now face Tottenham in the semi-final of the competition.
Eden Hazard has scored 10 goals and provided nine assists in all competitions this season, the most of any Premier League player.
Chelsea had as many as 12 shots on target, the most in a single game since Maurizio Sarri took over.
