Manchester City maintained their routine style of game with another 3-1 victory over Bournemouth.
Though it was not the best performance from them this season, it however ended in the required results with all three points to City. Goals were scored by Bernardo Silva, Raheem Sterling and Ilkay Gundogan. Callum Wilson scored the only goal for Bournemouth. City are now on 38 points, five points ahead of second Liverpool who will play the Merseyside derby against Everton today.
Manchester City have scored 24 goals and conceded only three in all of their seven Premier League games against Bournemouth and they've triumphed in all seven.
Since their 2-3 defeat to Manchester United in April, Manchester City have won 17 and drawn three Premier League games out of the total of 20 they've played.
Bournemouth have now lost each of their last four Premier League games after losing only two of the first 10 league game this season.
Leroy Sane has provided 20 Premier League assists since the start of last season, more than any other player.
Manchester United could not find their best rhythm against Southampton yesterday and the match ended in a 2-2 draw. United had to come from two goals down to salvage a point thanks to equalizing goals from Ander Herrera and Romelu Lukaku with all goals scored in the first half. Manchester United are further away from the top of the league with 16 points separating them from Manchester City, it remains to be seen if the Old Trafford side can squeeze themselves into the top four this season.

Romelu Lukaku scored for the first time in 12 games, a total of 981 minutes without a goal since scoring against Watford in September.
