Lionel Messi scored a brace for Barcelona last night

Harry Kane and Erik Lamela's goals were not enough to stop Messi-led Barcelona from securing a 4-2 win at Wembley.
Barcelona got the early lead through Phil Coutinho before Ivan Rakitic's half-volley doubled the lead. Tottenham responded through Harry Kane to half the deficit to 1-2 but Lionel Messi scored to make it 1-3. Erik Lamela made a statement by getting on the score sheet to make it 2-3 and when it looked like Tottenham would equalize, Lionel Messi settled the game with a dying minute goal and the match ended 4-2.
Barcelona have won nine from their last 11 Champions League games against Premier League sides, with one draw and one loss. The last time they won in England was the 2-0 against Arsenal in February 2016.
Lionel Messi has scored a total of 22 Champions League goals and made 6 assists against English clubs, more than any other nation.
Erik Lamela's goal was the 8000th goal in Champions League history.

Liverpool were punished by Lorenzo Insigne who scored a stoppage time winner to secure all three points for Napoli after Jurgen Klopp's side failed to muster any shot on target.
Napoli claimed their 9th Champions League home win from a possible 13. They have two draws and two defeats.
This is the first time Liverpool will fail to have a single Champions League shot on target since against Benfica in 2006 which also ended in a 0-1 loss.
Lorenzo Insigne scored his fourth goal in his last six Champions League matches.
David Ospina has now kept two clean sheets for Napoli in the Champions League, he managed just three in 13 starts for Arsenal.
