| Mesut Ozil with a wonderful display |
Arsenal scored all goals in a wonderful 3-1 victory over Leicester City. It was a joy to watch this Arsenal side last night as almost every player put in a massive display.
Hector Bellerin scored an own goal to give Leicester a 1-0 lead after Ben Chilwell's shot took a deflection off the Spaniard before Mesut Ozil equalized 1-1 just before half-time after a one-two with Bellerin. The second half was all Arsenal's and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang came off the bench to score a brace to give Arsenal a 3-1 win. Arsenal now have 21 points, fourth position level on points with Chelsea who are third as well as with Tottenham who are fifth.
This is the first time since October 2007 that Arsenal would win 10 consecutive games in all competitions. They had a run of 12 back then.
Leicester have failed to win any of their last 26 visits to the Emirates stadium, drawing six and losing 20 since September 1973.
Aubameyang has scored 16 goals and assisted five in 22 Premier League matches for Arsenal.
Substitute players have scored six Premier League goals for Arsenal more than any other team this season.
Mesut Ozil is now the German with the highest goal in Premier League history, he has 30 goals.
Ozil has now scored three times in his last for Premier League outings, as many as he scored in his previous 22 Premier League matches.
Hector Bellerin provided two assists in a single Premier League game for the fourth time ever. He also scored his first Premier League own goal after 133 appearances.
