Good morning to all our lovers out there, it's time to check out the latest news in the world of sports today.
Starting from here...
FIFA have released the three-man nominee for the FIFA The Best Men's Player of the Year award and Lionel Messi's name has been excluded for the first time in 12 years. The list consist exactly the same set of players that made the top three for the just awarded UEFA player of the year in Luka Modric, Cristiano Ronaldo and Mohamed Salah.
Meanwhile, Croatia boss Zlatko Dalic, France boss Didier Deschamps and former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane have all been nominated for the FIFA's Best Coach of the year.
In the women's category, Ada Hegerberg, Dzsenifer Marozsan and Marta have all been nominated this year.
For the Golden Boy award, Kylian Mbappe will lock horns with the likes of PSG's Timothy Weah, Manchester City's Phil Foden, Borussia Dortmund's Christian Pulisic, Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold among many other youngsters.
Gareth Bale, Cheryshev, Christodoulopoulos, Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, De Arrascaeta, Pavard, Quaresma, Salah and McGree have all been nominated for the Puskas award.
Senegal and Japan fans are joined by Deportes Puerto Month and Peru supporters club in the nomination for the FIFA fan award.
All awards will be distributed at the ceremony on September 24 in London.
