Liverpool are favourite for the Champions League; Patrick Chagonda.

A wonderful evening to you all, follow us as we check out a chat interview with a Liverpool fan, Patrick Chagonda.

SSN; Can we know you sir?
    Patrick: I am Patrick  Chagonda

SSN: Which club do you support?
    Patrick: Liverpool FC.

    SSN: Why Liverpool sir?
Patrick: I like their style of play and some individuals inspired me, the likes of KUYT, GERARD, quite a number of them.

SSN: That means you've been supporting Liverpool for quite a number of years, how many years?
Patrick: All I can say is I really dont know but I have a jersey when I was young around 8, my dad's brother who is a Liverpool fan bought it for me because I seemed to be a big fan of the reds, so I am not quite sure.

SSN: Considering you've been a Liverpool fan since the time of the likes of Steven Gerrard and Dirk Kuyt, what is the difference between the present Liverpool and back then?
Patrick: The players now adays, I dont know what to say exactly but they lack the red's spirit which players back then had. Now adays they play for money like the Philippe Coutinho's transfer crisis late in the summer window, Suarez also already gone.

SSN: So you mean players back then are more dedicated to the club than at present?
Patrick: Yes although some few present look like they are.

SSN: Who among these set of present players can enter into the team back in the days?
Patrick: Clyne, Robertson, Herndeson, Salah, Mane, Milner and Mingolet.

SSN: Nathaniel Clyne has been injured for a while now which has caused a lot of selection problem at right back, what do you have to say about it?
Patrick: Ohhhhh it has given chances for  the young ones to impress like Arnold, he impressed me a lot during pre season and UCL play offs, but for us to be a better team especially in defense we need Clyne.

SSN: Liverpool have had lesser goals conceded in recent weeks, the team looks balance, what's your take on it?

Patrick: Yes, nowadays the team is in form and I think Klopp has worked hard on defensive problems and it's better now.

SSN: Let's consider the way Klopp is changing the starting line up almost every match. What do you see about it?
Patrick: Its good because last season in january we suffered from injuries badly and had a fall but the way he is doing it is not good to me.

SSN: Why is it not good to you?
Patrick: He should be trying players like Sturridge you know.

SSN: Daniel Sturridge, why do you think he should be trying him?
Patrick: He is a good striker, look back in 2013-14 before his long term injuries. To me, he is good if you play him  with Lallana Chamberlin and other English players.

SSN: After winning 4-0 away from home at Bournemouth, do you think Liverpool can repeat the same against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium?
    Patrick: That's absolutely possible.

SSN: Away from home? How do you think Liverpool can beat the Gunners?
Patrick: Liverpool are in form away from home and have a good record against Gunners away and with the fabulous 4 infront we will repeat it again.

SSN: Do you see any trophy for Liverpool this season?
Patrick: Yes i probably think we are among the favorites of Champions League.

SSN: You face FC Porto in the next round, how easy will that be?
Patrick: Not quite  easy but i think the boys are capable of landing us in the next round and klopp is very good in games like these.

SSN: But to say Liverpool can win the Champions League, is that not ridiculous with clubs like Barcelona, Real Madrid, PSG, Bayern Munich, Juventus still participating?
Patrick: It is but have a feeling that this season it's ours and I trust my team.

SSN: What's your take on the Premier League, who is winning the title?
Patrick: Citizens have the  trophy already but need to be watchful when they come to Anfield because it may be the start of their decline.

SSN: You mean it's only Liverpool that can beat Manchester City?
Patrick: Yes it's possible at Anfield

SSN: Which position do you think Liverpool will finish this season?
    Patrick: second or third.

SSN: Meaning Liverpool will be part of top 4 this season, what's your take on top 4, who will miss out?
    Patrick: Arsenal and Tottenham

SSN: That will be all, thanks for staying around with us, have a nice night.
